Repair Cafes

Following a post by Thame Green Living on social media talking about how great Repair Cafes along the lines of https://www.repaircafe.org/en/ are for the environment a team from 21st Century Thame took up the challenge to set one up in Thame. Fast forward a few years and we now have a monthly Repair Café that runs every 3rd Saturday from 2pm – 4pm from the Scout Hut at Southern Road, Thame.

Volunteers are available to help repair your broken ‘thing’. If they can’t help, they will advise on next steps. One item per household please. First come, first served.

The Repair Café is being run under the umbrella organisation of 21st Century Thame by a small team of volunteers who went out and found a number of volunteer repairers and a venue! They are always on the look out for others who can join their team of repairers and the more variety of skills they can gather together the more successful the café will be.

The Repair Café is be a great opportunity to come along and meet other like minded people and have a coffee and a chat too. So if you can get involved, get in touch.
