How to reduce your Food Waste
Reducing food waste at home is one of the simplest ways individuals can help tackle climate change.
An open invitation to a free film about what we can expect in the future, and how to prepare for it.
The film will be shown at the Chinnor Community Pavilion on Station Road, OX39 4PU, on Friday 11th September, at 7.30pm.
Discussion and refreshments afterwards.
This is an opportunity to attend a local screening of the People’s Emergency Briefing, outlining the threats to British life from ongoing damage to nature and to our climate.
Perhaps the most inspiring aspect of The People’s Emergency Briefing is its focus on what is already happening at community level. Across the UK and around the world, the work of local organisations, volunteer groups, social enterprises and neighbourhood networks are proving that change does not have to wait for national governments – it is already happening.
Another film to watch out for in Chinnor is Power Station, the true story of how a whole street became a solar power station, just by their own inspiring and humorous efforts. Showing at the Scout Hut, Station Road on Friday 2nd October.
Two informative and inspiring films, not to be missed.
