Route Description
The walk starts at Chinnor Rugby Club before heading north-east along public footpaths through open countryside past Keepers Cottage and Tythrop Park Farm, continuing into Haddenham near the church and village green.

  • By X20 bus (every 30 minutes until approximately 4:30pm, then hourly)
  • Taxi from Haddenham & Thame Parkway station

Important Information
Please read before registering:

  • Sorry, no dogs. This is due to potential livestock on the route.
  • All under 18s must be supervised by a responsible adult at all times.
  • The route includes kissing gates and is not suitable for prams or buggies.
  • Sturdy footwear is recommended.
  • No refreshments or water are provided during the walk. Please bring: at least 1 litre of water per person / snacks / sun protection appropriate for the weather.
  • There are some uneven and potentially muddy sections, particularly near the railway bridge.
  • The footbridge on the route has temporary repairs in place. Please take care while crossing.
  • Participants are required to carry emergency contact information. Following Ramblers advice, we recommend bringing a completed ICE (In Case of Emergency) card. There is a template below you can print out and fill in. If you are unable to print one at home, blank forms will be available at the start of the walk.
  • We may take photographs during the event for community publicity. Please speak to organisers at the start of the walk if you do not wish to appear in photographs.
    Participants take part at their own risk.
